We Hope in a Short Time to See You Again

  • #ane

Hello

ane) I hope to see you lot again.
2) I hope that I encounter yous once again.
3) I hope that I tin encounter you again.

Are all the sentences right and aforementioned in the meaning?

Though I employ "often/ofttimes" instead of "again", is the same rule applied here?

Thank you

Hello

1) I hope to see you over again.
2) I promise that I run into you lot again.
3) I promise that I tin can see you once more.

Are all the sentences correct and same in the meaning?

Though I utilise "ofttimes/oftentimes" instead of "again", is the same rule applied here?

Thank you

All the sentences are correct, but not all of them accept the aforementioned meaning.
ane) I promise to see you again. Means that you might non, and is sometimes used but for politeness - you lot have been introduced to a friend of your sister, who has been to tea at your business firm. You say sentence one every bit she leaves, but her visit was unexpected and she may or may not repeat it.
2) I promise that I encounter you once more.
Once more, this means that y'all might not - you are saying this to a fellow student who has graduated and gone to a task, or further study. She might have gone to live in another town. You express the hope that she (or you) will have the time to visit.
3) I hope that I can see you lot again.
You lot say this when you lot seriously desire to see this person again. You take been on a engagement with him/her perchance, and you are a bit worried that they may non want to echo the experience - or perhaps you desire them to teach y'all or help you with something...
Often and frequently are slightly different again. The sentences are correct, with slight shades of difference of pregnant.

All three are correct, although #3 is slightly different. Saying "I hope I can see you once more" could possibly suggest that yous may not be able to see the person once more, while the others only limited that you hope to run into the said person another time.

Thank you.

If I say, I hope I tin can run into y'all here frequently(oftentimes), does it hateful that I already causeless that "you" might not come hither?

I'm wondering if this kind of assumption might be a little flake rude to "you".

Also, how do yous employ differently "often" and "frequently"?
Thanks.

Thanks.

If I say, I hope I tin run across yous here often(often), does it mean that I already assumed that "you" might non come here?

I'chiliad wondering if this kind of supposition might be a little bit rude to "you".

Also, how do you use differently "often" and "oft"?
Thanks.

At present, if y'all say "I hope I can see you here ofttimes(oftentimes" information technology implies that you believe the person does go there (to a café, gym library or any) and you're saying that yous promise that you tin can/will meet her/him at that place.

Frequently implies that he/she is at that place more times, than often. Frequently also implies regularly - she is at the library Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Fri nights - whereas often can mean as fiddling every bit once a calendar week, but still more than say in one case a calendar month...
Then often and oftentimes are not quite the same....
